On April 4, 2025, a guest lecture titled \u201cSpecifics of the Work of a Scrub Nurse in an Orthopedic Operating Room\u201d\ud83e\uddb4\ud83d\udc69\u200d\u2695\ufe0f was held at the Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences \ud83c\udfeb. The lecture was part of the elective course Fundamentals of Surgical Instrumentation \ud83d\udee0\ufe0f\ud83d\udd0d and was delivered by our alumna Lea Mar\u010deta, bacc. med. techn. \ud83d\udc69\u200d\ud83c\udf93 During the lecture, Lea introduced students to the specific demands and challenges of working in an orthopedic operating room \ud83c\udfe5. She emphasized the importance of teamwork \ud83e\udd1d, communication \ud83d\udde3\ufe0f, and organization \ud83d\udccb, while also sharing concrete experiences from clinical practice \ud83d\udcdd. The lecture was extremely valuable and motivating for the students \ud83d\udca1\ud83d\ude4c, and the constructive discussion \ud83d\udcac further enriched the course content \ud83d\udcda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
