The Office for Psychological Support provides support to students, including counseling related to academic and personal difficulties (psychological counseling).
Psychological counseling and support for students with disabilities include assistance and counseling in the following situations:
- Anxiety before exams
- Difficulties in mastering academic material
- Unsuccessful control of worry in various areas of functioning
- Depressed mood
- Personal difficulties (e.g., family and partner relationships)
- Feelings of loneliness and homesickness
- Feelings of unsuccessful coping with stress
- Anxiety when engaging in social interactions
- Difficulties in making tough decisions
- Lack of self-confidence
- Low self-esteem
- Assistance in overcoming disability-related difficulties for students with disabilities
- Other difficulties related to the above areas.
Psychological support is provided by Tamara Salaj, Senior Lecturer, a certified psychotherapist in logotherapy and existential analysis.
