On February 7, 2025, the Red Dress Day event was held at the Cultural and Multimedia Center Bjelovar, a national initiative dedicated to raising awareness about stroke in women. Alongside the event organizer, General Hospital “Dr. Anđelko Višić” Bjelovar, Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences also took part. Nursing program lecturers Sabina Bis and Ivan Pokec, together with students Veronika Lendel, Petra Poldrugač, Lana Stubičar, and Lana Sučić, conducted educational workshops, including risk factor assessments, blood pressure, and blood sugar measurements. 🩺🩸 The program included expert lectures from healthcare professionals, with a special focus on the importance of a healthy lifestyle, regular medical check-ups, and early recognition of stroke symptoms. Many citizens, students, and pupils supported the event, wearing red as a symbol of solidarity with those affected. 🔴 The organizers expressed their satisfaction with the turnout and emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives to educate the public and reduce the number of stroke cases. 💡 Red Dress Day is a reminder that taking care of our health and reacting in time can save lives! 💖
