“Lifelong Learning” includes all forms of learning throughout life aimed at acquiring and enhancing competencies for personal, social, and professional needs.
“Formal Learning” is an organized activity conducted by an authorized legal or natural person, carried out according to approved programs to acquire and enhance competencies for personal, social, and professional needs. It is certified by a certificate, diploma, or other official document issued by an authorized legal entity.
“Non-formal Learning” is an organized learning activity aimed at acquiring and enhancing competencies for personal, social, and professional needs, but it is not certified by an official document.
“Informal Learning” is an unorganized activity of acquiring competencies from everyday experiences and other influences and sources in the environment for personal, social, and professional needs.
