The Summer School of Programming and Robotics has ended.

After three weeks of lectures and almost a hundred school hours of summer classes, the first Summer School of Programming and Robotics has come to an end! A big thank you to all primary and secondary school students who joined us during these hot summer days. We hope you had fun, learned a lot, and maybe even discovered a new hobby! We invite everyone to keep following Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences’ channels, and we’ll see you in the fall!

Erasmus Stay in Bulgaria at Medical University Sofia

Lecturers from Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences, Goranka Rafaj and Živko Stojčić, visited Bulgaria from June 6 to June 10, 2022, at Medical University Sofia. During their visit, they met with the Dean, Professor Galina Chaneva, and the Erasmus Coordinator, Antoniyа Yanakievа, to discuss the continuation of their ongoing cooperation and the exchange of students and lecturers. As part of their professional development, the lecturers visited state-of-the-art hospitals – the largest gynecology and obstetrics hospital in Bulgaria, Maternity Hospital – Maichin Dom, and Tokusa Hospital – Acibadem City Clinic, where students conduct clinical exercises. Our female students also had placements in these hospitals. Special thanks to Tanja, Miglena, Iliana, and Diana for their warm welcome at the hospitals.

Erasmus+ Mobility in Skopje

The Dean of Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences, Associate Professor Zrinka Puharić, PhD, the Vice Dean for Development, Tatjana Badrov, MSc, and the Head of the Library, Mirjana Bučar, visited the Faculty of Technical Sciences at Mother Teresa University in Skopje. During the visit, they signed an Erasmus+ bilateral cooperation agreement with their hosts, the Dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Professor Agim Mamuti, PhD, and Zoran Trifunov, PhD. They also presented Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences’ current projects and discussed future collaboration opportunities.

Erasmus Mobility at CEPS Kiseljak

After the joint student conference held in May, representatives of Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences (Zrinka Puharić, Tatjana Badrov, and Tomislav Pavlic) exchanged experiences, presented current projects, and planned future activities with representatives of CEPS. The representatives of the University also visited TMP, a company for employing blind and visually impaired individuals, in Sarajevo. There, they discussed potential collaboration opportunities with Veselin Rebić, the company’s director, and Armin Hadžić, the executive director.
