She was welcomed by Dean 👩🏫 Tatjana Badrov, Erasmus Coordinator 🌍 Marina Marković, Student Council President 🎤 Darija Pelengić, and the most important link in adapting and settling in the city 🏙️ and at the University 🎓, her buddy student 🤝 Lucija Ključević.

As part of the Treasure project 💎, the University of Applied Sciences 🎓 was visited by Vice-Dean Oznur Korukcu 👩🏫 and PhD candidate Meltem Ozkakaya 📚 from Akdeniz University, Antalya, Turkey 🇹🇷. They toured the University 🏫 and, together with colleagues from the Nursing Studies program 🩺👩⚕️ and the Erasmus coordinator 🌍🤝, agreed on the continuation of long-standing successful cooperation 🤗✨.

Our student Darija Pelengić 👩🎓, as part of the Student Buddy program 🤝, took our Erasmus student Nur Ceren Ceylan 🌍 (from Akdeniz University in Antalya 🇹🇷) to the Salaj family estate to experience the true magic of Easter 🐣✨. Nur Ceren couldn’t hide her excitement 😍, and what was supposed to be a one-hour visit turned into three hours of pure enjoyment 🕒🌷 at the Salaj family’s estate.

Zrinka Puharić, a nursing teacher, participated in the International Staff Week at the partner institution Satakunta University of Applied Sciences in Pori, Finland, from April 7 to April 11, 2025. 📚🏫 Her stay included a tour of the campus, the library 📖, the sports hall 🏋️, the relaxation room 🧘, practical training rooms 🧪, and facilities for simulating home care for people with disabilities ♿🏠.

Today, the University 🎓 hosted a Zoom meeting 💻 of the project implementation team for “Independent Learning Strategies in a Digital Environment.” In the third year of project implementation, Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences is the coordinator 🔄 of activities, with partners 📍 Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski from Bulgaria and Instituto Superior de Administração e Línguas (ISAL) from Madeira, Portugal. Moderator 🎤 Marina Marković opened the meeting and invited Reneta Bojankova, Vice-Rector of Sofia University, Sancha de Campanella, Deputy Director of ISAL, and our Dean, Tatjana Badrov, to greet the project participants 👋. As part of the Erasmus+ program 🌍, our partner institution, Dubrava Clinical Hospital 🏥, hosted students Mar Xiang Puigvert Lopez and Arantzazu Regueiro Plazaola from Spain 🇪🇸. The Erasmus students successfully completed a three-month professional internship 💼, gaining valuable knowledge 📚 and experience 🌟. During the final meeting 🗂️ with their mentors, the achieved results ✅ were analyzed, experiences 🤝 were shared, and key successes 🏆 of this collaboration were highlighted.
This successful initiative further emphasized the importance of connecting the academic community 🎓, the healthcare sector 🩺, and international partners 🌐 to develop professional competencies and enhance the quality of practice 📈. 🌟 A wonderful story about long-term collaboration with the Instituto Superior de Administração e Línguas (ISAL) from Madeira Island, Portugal. 📅 On Tuesday, December 3, Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences was visited by Sancha de Campanella, the Deputy Director of this partner institution. 👩💼 Dean Tatjana Badrov, Erasmus Coordinator Marina Marković, and the Head of the joint INCLUDE project, Ivana Jurković, discussed with the guest the results of completed projects, the continuation of the current BIP project, as well as future collaboration. 🎄 Naturally, we also showcased the beautiful Bjelovar Advent.
