ERASMUS+ EXPERIENCE OF STUDENT DŽENAN TAHMAZ FROM THE CEPS HIGH SCHOOL KISELJAK

By Erasmus - Iskustva s mobilnosti, News, Obavijesti računarstvo

This semester, as part of the ERASMUS+ student mobility program, Dženan Tahmaz, a student from the “CEPS-Centar za poslovne studije” Kiseljak, participated in our professional undergraduate program in Computer Science. 😊 Dženan is a second-year student in the Information Technologies program, and during his stay with us, he attended the courses Introduction to Computer Networks, Software Engineering, C# Programming, and Business Planning. 📚

Below you can watch Dženan’s full ERASMUS+ experience:

“I spent the summer semester of the 2022/2023 academic year at Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences as part of the ERASMUS+ student mobility program. Bjelovar is a small town with around 40,000 inhabitants, founded by the Austro-Hungarian Empress Maria Theresa in 1756. The town was originally built as a headquarters for the imperial army. Bjelovar is exceptionally well connected to other cities by railway, making it an ideal place to explore and visit other parts of Croatia.”

“From the very beginning, I was warmly and hospitably welcomed. The professors showed great dedication, and I had an excellent experience working with them. Outside of classes, I met interesting and very friendly students with whom I spent time every day, both inside and outside the classroom. My stay in Bjelovar began with adjusting to and getting to know the town, and then it was time to start the lectures. The studies themselves were not too exhausting, with regular work and following the lecture materials. Guest lectures from industry experts were also a very good addition to the daily academic routine.”

“This exchange in Bjelovar has left a deep mark on my memory. Thanks to the support of the professors and the friendships I made, I surpassed my expectations and matured as a person. I am confident that this experience will be invaluable to me in the future, both academically and personally.”

“I sincerely recommend to all my colleagues to spend at least one semester on an exchange, as it will give them the opportunity to get to know themselves better and learn something new from professors at other universities. Studying in a different environment brings invaluable benefits, broadens our horizons, and helps us find solutions in a new, innovative way.”
