🌟 Nejra Rizvanović and Tarik Mešić, students of the Higher School “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak (Bosnia and Herzegovina), have arrived for their Erasmus+ mobility at our university. 📚 In the winter semester, they will attend classes with our computing students. 💻 We wish our Erasmus+ students an enjoyable stay at the university and in the city of Bjelovar. 🌍✨

On September 12, 2024 🗓️, our university was visited by nursing student 👩‍⚕️ Sarah Cornelia Maier from FH Salzburg University of Applied Sciences in Austria 🇦🇹, who is currently on a two-month internship in the surgery department 🏥 at KBC Rebro. We warmly welcome her 🎉 to our city 🏙️ and to our university!

🔷 Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences was visited by our Erasmus+ nursing students 👩‍⚕️ Mar Xiang Puigvert Lopez and Arantzazu Regueiro Plazaola from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona 🎓, our long-time partner institution 🤝, who will be completing their clinical practice 🩺 at KB Dubrava 🏥. #vub #nursing #erasmus 🌍

Today, 😊 as part of the project “Work inequalities in later life redefined by digitalization,” our university was visited by 👩‍🏫 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Feyza Dalaylı from Canakkale University in Turkey 🇹🇷 – Department of Communication Skills 🗣️. She presented her work to our staff 👩‍💼👨‍💼 on the topic “Digital Work Inequality and Digital Divide Due to Aging in Academic Working Life: City Example” 💻📚. A cooperation agreement ✍️ was also signed between the institutions, opening the possibility for future Erasmus+ collaboration 🌍🤝.

Our English language teacher Ivana Jurković is participating this week in the international exchange of foreign language teachers at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland. During her stay, she held guest lectures and workshops for computing and architecture students, participated in international co-teaching observation, presented our university at an international fair for foreign students, took part in discussions aimed at exchanging best practices, and joined the traditional student parade and cultural activities. Collaboration was agreed with the Director of the Department of Foreign Languages at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv University, Ukraine, in the areas of joint research and virtual exchange of computing students. The international week involved teachers from the USA, Colombia, Finland, Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The traditionally strong collaboration between Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences and Bjelovar Kindergarten continued with a visit to the kindergarten by students Clare and Aurelie from France, who are currently on a student exchange at our university. 🌍👩‍🎓 Clare and Aurelie delighted the little ones who are diligently learning French and helped them master the correct pronunciation of words from French songs. 📚🎵 Then, the children tested how well the girls know the Croatian language and taught them new words. 🇭🇷📝 Watch the video on our FB page: https://fb.watch/qSq8ZQyRpm/
