Lifelong Learning Program “Updates in Breastfeeding Education”

On October 7, 2022, the Dean of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zrinka Puharić, and our external collaborator, Mrs. Sc. Marija Čatipović, MD, held a lecture on the topic “Updates in Breastfeeding Education” at our university. The lecture was attended by our nursing students and nurses who encounter issues related to breastfeeding among young mothers in their daily work. The assessment was carried out in accordance with the regulations of the Croatian Chamber of Nurses (HKMS).

 

Bjelovar University of Applied Sciences at the Ceremonial Conference Marking 35 Years of Erasmus

Our lecturer, Ivana Jurković, participated today in a panel discussion on the importance of implementing international activities in higher education at the ceremonial conference marking 35 years of Erasmus, held at Tvornica kulture in Zagreb. She was joined by vice-rectors from the University of Dubrovnik and the University of Split, as well as a representative of ESN. The sectoral panel opened with a video showcasing the fantastic story of our Mechatronics student, Sebastijan Kos, who realized his entrepreneurial dreams through Erasmus. ERASMUS INCOMING MOBILITY FROM TURKEY

Our Mechatronics Department will host an incoming student from Duzce University (Faculty of Engineering) in Turkey this semester. The incoming student, Ömer Kenan, will attend four courses with us and work on his final thesis in our lab. Nikola is doing his professional internship at the Jožef Stefan Institute for the second time.

Our mechatronics student, Nikola Tutić, is undertaking his Erasmus+ professional internship at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana for the second time. During this four-month internship period, Nikola visited the Automation, Biocybernetics and Robotics, Systems and Control, and Intelligent Systems departments. The smile on Nikola’s face clearly shows how satisfied he is with the internship.
